Mollight is a bedside lamp made with springs: a reading lamp, made simply from a spring salvaged from an old armchair's upholstery and a light bulb.
Transforming matter takes time, work, energy: this project set out to reduce transformation to a minimum. The most effective way to dispose of waste is not recycling, but reuse as-is.
In terms of sustainable design, the suggestion instead points toward designing products that are easily repairable and made of a single material, and toward the use of secondary raw materials, in an effort to raise awareness among end users.
